My boss ordered a couple of sandwiches from Tinta y Cafe for an office potluck and unfortunately I was not able to attend. But all the rave were about those sandwiches, and my job is located a short walk away (blessing and a curse). So I decided to pass by and order several sandwiches and check out the vibe. The cafe is very simple and has an old fashioned coffeehouse vibe, the menu consists of Cuban and other Latin influences. I ordered their egg and ham media noche (sweet bread), the Tropicana, and the Calena. All sandwiches were exceptional the Tropicana included sliced fresh turkey, lettuce, tomato and an olive spread. The Calena included sliced turkey and prosciutto with a garlic aioli sauce. All the sauces and spread had the perfect texture. I truly became a fan of Tinta y Cafe and could see why they earned their Michelin stars.

I've come by to Tinta y Café ventanita twice recently. The first for cortadito and a mini toast and this recent time for cortaditos, a regular Cuban toast, and a regular sized italiano 1 sandwich. The cortaditos are stellar here. Great balance of espresso, milk and foam. The Cuban toast with butter is so yummy, warm and fresh. I'm hooked. The italiano 1 sandwich had mozzarella, tomato, basil, tomato jam and basil oil. It was tasty and fresh. They include a little bag of plantain chips. Staff was helpful and friendly. I haven't sat inside yet as it's been via the window but the inside looks cute and chill. Good prices, fresh/quality food, and great coffee. Definitely will come back again soon!

Plain and simple, the breakfast sandwich add guava jam is the best bite I've had at breakfast time ever. It paired so perfectly with the sweet and bitter Cuban coffee and the fresh squeezed, aerated orange juice mimosas. If you're going anywhere else for breakfast in Coral Gables, you're missing out. Get there early! The dining room is small and the line at the take out counter grows quickly. If you have the time, sit inside. The staff is friendly and attentive and sitting at the bar watching the kitchen staff make perfect, fluffy, eggs and tango around each other in their narrow space to make the perfect sandwich every time is like breakfast and a show. Oh, and don't leave without some guava and cream cheese pastelitos!

This place is tiny! Literally 1 table that fits 6, another one that fits 4 (tightly) and a seating area for four. Oh! There's the bar area too, I forgot about that. If you are going to go please do not go during peak hours. It's way too hectic. Specially for a neighborhood coffee house! Two coffees I would recommend are the sachi-mocha and el pecado (which is made with condensed milk, evaporated milk and sugar). We ordered the coffees at the little ventanita while we waiting for a table and was told that we couldn't take the drinks inside - but when we were sat, they let us bring the coffees inside. Ton of sandwiches to choose from. Think sandwiches from Spain basically but also Cuban sandwiches. El gallego (cantimpalo, prosciutto, tomato and manchego cheese) was pretty good and so was el guajiro (pork or chicken, Swiss, special sauce and sautéed onions). Parking is very limited but there's ample parking around the area.

This is a hidden gem with a Michelin star in coral gables. The inside is small and cozy just a few tables and barstools to sit. But they have a "ventanita" window where they take orders to go or sit outside in one of the 4 tables. As a plant based eater I was surprised to see they had a garden sandwich option that was delicious. I also had a decaf oat milk latte that hit the spot. If I lived closer I would definitely visit more often.

Tinta y Cafe is one of those spots you just have to check out. It's a staple for locals and once you go you'll understand why. They can do no wrong. Their coffee is amazing their sandwiches are delicious and the vibe is just so nice and warm. It's a cozy cutesy little cafe that feels like a home away from home. I always find myself fixated on the cafe con leche which is just my go-to anywhere but they nail it. My go to sandwich is La Francescita with turkey and of course you can't go wrong with their tostadas always buttery and crisp. But I need to go back and try more things because their menu is filled with so many tempting options. I domt know why but their freshly squeezed orange juice just hits differently especially when paired with a cafecito and a warm pressed sandwich. If you haven't been yet do yourself a favor and go. This place is truly a gem!

Had a lovely breakfast here on a Sunday morning, and probably the best dirty chai of my life. Not sure what exactly made it so good but I can't stop thinking about it. The breakfast sandwich was also bomb, it had ham, eggs, cheese and we got the guava jam. Loved the way the eggs were cooked and it's a very well sized sandwich. Vibes inside were great and service was fast and friendly

Came here on a weekend to try out this cute little cafe. We decided to order from the window, I got the veggie sandwich and a chai latte and my partner got a sandwich with chicken. While the order did take a little longer than excepted to come out, the food tasted great. Can't say it was the best sandwich I've ever had but it was yummy. The staff were friendly and bilingual and the ordering process was smooth. They did have chairs covered with umbrellas which I did appreciate in this Miami heat. One thing to note is that their parking lot is quite small, you may have to drive around the area a little and park on the side of the road somewhere. But overall I enjoyed my time and if I am around the area I wouldn't mind coming back.
